top photo was taken with the Lensbaby Spark, a recent purchase, and the bottom with Canon 17-55. The endless variations in nature's art keep me happily ever enthralled.

Oh One, Oh Two!

The sky is fun to shoot, always different. And with winter's bare trees you get an additional dimension.

I used the 17-55 lens and spent some time on cropping this one; there were some distracting roof protrusions.  What I liked was the contrails framing the tree so I removed what wasn't that story. Hey, I found words for it!

Smoke is good for adding some atmosphere to a sunrise landscape photo with clouds. I got up early ;^) and enjoyed the morning.

I love to see those wonderful big puffy clouds; this scene was shot near the airstrip in Lake California where big sky views are possible. The Canon t3i is quite enjoyable to use!

Fun fiddling with fotos. tho technically a poor photo, I like the way it looks.

yay! photoshop elements 9 has layer masks. i wanted more dimension on the birds and wires so used some photoshop magic, but then it seemed so typically "birds on the wires"that i used a layer mask to erase one section of the filtered effect and liked the result. i just got a new wacom create tablet and pse 9 came with it. my creative juices have been stirred; another yay!

Had a few hours one afternoon this week so I painted in the backyard but looking up. ;) 9x12" panel in the guerilla painter box, limited palette of ultramarine blue, chromatic black, pthalo blue and flake white.
