So I participated tonite, here's a photo of my set-up. Drumming, music, prayers, and reiki sent to the center of the earth, and the hearts of all beings on the planet. It was sweet, I am happy to have participated.

Drawing with yarn!

 Working on a crochet blanket, in the style called mosaic crochet. This is a CAL (crochet-a-long) by Tinna Thorudottir Thorvaldar. For more info, search on youtube. ;) 

I call it drawing with yarn, as you follow the chart a pattern emerges row by row. I am more interested in crocheting than drawing this year.

the internet was not working in the a.m. so I drew this. Just allowed it to happen slowly, with no actual plan. sketchbook, graphite, microns. it was pleasant fun. the router seems to be resetting again now...

 hooboy, I am rusty. I can only improve. 😮

Since Covid, Crochet.

 So, time available, I learned to crochet. So many patterns! So much yarn! So wonderfully distracting from the political, environmental and medical storms raging in the US and globally. 

I made these dishtowels from a pattern by "Creative Grandma" on youtube. She is a patient and skillful teacher, thanks, Glenda! I used cotton yarn "Lily Sugar and Cream" and used my phone for the photo.

Yep, youtube is a great place to learn new skills!

So satisfying to complete a challenging 1000 piece puzzle. it's called "Dunhuang Deer".

inktober reminded me i do like to draw, so i got a drawing table and chair, and used them today.

it was fun. 😀 

might be called zentangle inspired art as a mandala.
