Black n White n Low Clarity

Going to start a b & w photo composition class, and thought I'd end 2015 with photo intended to be about the spirit rather than the form.
Lensbaby sweet 35 gave me the blurred edges I love, and I turned down clarity to get the dream like feeling in the center.I like how the light brings out the little birds and the massive overarching Oak tree.  Happy New Year!

"River Oak" plein air landscape oil painting

9x12" oil on Raymar Linen panel. It was a beautiful morning overlooking the Sacramento River in the shade of a lovely old oak tree. This is what I call fun! I had to blur the photo a bit to compensate for the linen pattern my camera over- emphasizes.
Available for $135.00 thru paypal. I will ship for free!
