#WWPW Foto Fun!

A real barber pole in downtown Redding, Ca, one shot from my feet during the Scott Kelby #WWPW worldwide photo walk event on Saturday, 10-14-12. I went with members of Shasta Photo Club at 8 a.m. and we walked the downtown area for a couple of hours.

Soft sky with branches photo

I think branches against the sky create a lovely pattern. This photo has been processed with the colored pencil filter in pse 9 to give it softness; razor sharp focus and brilliant color is not always preferable to me.

Oak limbs oil painting

I enjoy painting the many oak trees we have out here in the country. The board was toned orange and I let that peek thru to represent the fall color in the leaves. 9x12" oil on masonite.
