painted from memory; drove to chico on fri nite for the opening reception of the "From the Heart, Small Art" show at Avenue 9 Gallery, in chico, ca where two of my paintings are included
"Lassen, Day After" and "Pudgie Sleeping". it was rainy and i liked the gray and green but did not have time to stop and take pics so just painted it from my impression.

the reception was nice, wine and good snacks, and very crowded! saw several red dots. nice variety and quality of work, paintings, sculpture, "wire drawings", glass work, fiber art. i'm pleased to be included! the show runs thru march 11.
