added burnt sienna to my palette, it makes such a nice dark with ult blue.

tried a different approach, semi-successful. oil on linen 6x8"

a woman at the library gave me this rose to paint when she saw the painting books i checked out, and i remarked on the roses displayed on the counter. she grew them, and has offered to cut me a bouquet as well. so nice!
